This type of fence is generally used where the line of sight for sheep flow is critical. The view of the sheep is always forward without distractions from adjoining pens. Sheeted fences are mainly used for Front Fill Races, between Catch Pens or where ever sheep need to be moved alongside existing filled holding pens.
The ability of the swing-slide gate to slide past sheep in a full pen and then swing in behind them, makes this style of gate an essential item in any shearing shed. Once behind the sheep the gate can be used to force the sheep forward, making loading of pens so much easier.
